1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using LangVibe (the "Service"), operated by La Onda Inc. ("Company", "we", "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
LangVibe is a real-time language exchange platform that connects users for language practice through instant video calls, scheduled sessions, and community features. The Service is provided free of charge and may include future premium features.
3. User Accounts
You must sign in using a Google account to access the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activities that occur under your account. You must be at least 13 years of age to use the Service. You agree to provide accurate information and to keep your profile information up to date.
4. User Conduct
You agree not to: - Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws - Harass, threaten, or intimidate other users - Share inappropriate, offensive, or sexually explicit content - Impersonate any person or entity - Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or other users' accounts - Use automated systems or bots to access the Service - Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure
5. Content Guidelines
Users may create posts, comments, and share content through the Service. You retain ownership of content you create but grant La Onda Inc. a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute your content within the Service. We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these terms or our community guidelines.
6. Video Calls and Communication
Video calls on LangVibe are peer-to-peer (P2P) connections established via WebRTC technology. We do not record, store, or monitor the audio or video content of your calls. Ephemeral chat messages sent during calls are transmitted directly between users and are never stored on our servers. You are responsible for your conduct during video calls.
7. Intellectual Property
The Service, including its design, features, and content (excluding user-generated content), is owned by La Onda Inc. and protected by intellectual property laws. The LangVibe name, logo, and branding are trademarks of La Onda Inc. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on the Service without our prior written consent.
8. Limitation of Liability
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. La Onda Inc. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you have paid to us in the twelve months preceding the claim, if any.
9. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account at any time if you violate these terms, receive excessive reports from other users, or engage in conduct that we determine is harmful to the Service or other users. Users who receive 5 or more reports may be automatically suspended. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us at support@laonda.io.
10. Changes and Contact
We may update these Terms of Service at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
